This is Giselle, 44 years Fabulous! Giselle works in the mental health field. She is from Ontario originally and moved to AB 25 years ago. She is a single mom and raised two children who have now moved on to University, one back to Ontario and the other in Vancouver. Giselle finds herself empty nesting and wondering just who Giselle is now.
That is what brought her to this project, she needed something for herself even though this is about as far outside of her comfort zone as she could think to be. (Personally I think she nailed it!) Right up to the day of her shoot she kept asking herself just what she had gotten herself in to, but she showed up for herself and shined!
Now that she is living solo with her two dogs and waiting anxiously for her kids to visit, she is on a mission to see what her hobbies are. She spent the last 20 years being a single mom with an all encompassing job and doesn’t know what she likes to do when she isn’t doing those things. This is the year to find herself again.
She’s trying new things, jazz class, aerial silks, and agility dog training. She loves music, mostly classic rock and her favourite movie is Steel Magnolias.
