This is Carrie. Carrie is 42, she likes playing slow pitch, hunting and camping. She is born and raised AB, and lives in Lacombe.
Carrie joined the project with some encouragement from Linda N. (Linda is also part of this years project). Her reason for taking part is simply this, she lost a baby, she lost her father and she lost herself.
I’ve asked Carrie if I can share some of her personal story, she thinks its important to talk about as this is one of those things that us as women often don’t talk about but carry heavily within us for the rest of our lives, the loss of a child. Carrie went in to early labor (around week 30, sorry Carrie I didn’t write down the exact week you told me) because the baby was ingesting amniotic fluid, she delivered but three days later Kennedy passed on. It’s been six years now and Carrie is on her way to finding herself again.
Carrie was nervous about her shoot but determined to let the process help in her journey, her road to Carrie.
