Today it’s my pleasure to introduce Jesse to you all. Jesse and I have been friends for 20+ years, she came in to my life at a time in my young adulthood when I was sprouting my wings, learning many lessons; some good and some hard, at a time when your friends are closer to you than family. We grew a little, we matured a lot and our lives though they have rarely been on the same stretch of road they have always seemed to run parallel down Life’s Highway.
Jesse is the kind of person who is truly kind. I don’t know how else to describe it, she has a true kind heart, she has had some hard and very stressful times in her adult life, from troubles with conceiving, to then having back to back children (only 13 months apart), who were both premature, to some chronic health issues and through it all she still just goes about lifting other people up, taking care of them, celebrating them, supporting them and honestly expecting nothing in return.
Long stretched of time will go by before we see each other but our friendship is one of those that will last for a lifetime, we can just pick right back up, there is never any judgements or glossing over life tribulations, just two heart to heart old friends.
