Jesse A. {Fab@40+ Project} | Sherry Penner

Today it’s my pleasure to introduce Jesse to you all. Jesse and I have been friends for 20+ years, she came in to my life at a time in my young adulthood when I was sprouting my wings, learning many lessons; some good and some hard, at a time when your friends are closer to you than family. We grew a little, we matured a lot and our lives though they have rarely been on the same stretch of road they have always seemed to run parallel down Life’s Highway.

Jesse is the kind of person who is truly kind. I don’t know how else to describe it, she has a true kind heart, she has had some hard and very stressful times in her adult life, from troubles with conceiving, to then having back to back children (only 13 months apart), who were both premature, to some chronic health issues and through it all she still just goes about lifting other people up, taking care of them, celebrating them, supporting them and honestly expecting nothing in return.

Long stretched of time will go by before we see each other but our friendship is one of those that will last for a lifetime, we can just pick right back up, there is never any judgements or glossing over life tribulations, just two heart to heart old friends.

Enough of the mushy stuff! Jesse is the owner of Quench Handmade Body Products, also one of our great sponsors, and her passion is in making amazing healthy products we can put on our bodies to sooth our souls or heal wounds. I have tried most of her line and its simply wonderful. Please take some time out to like her FB page and shop in her shop, you can also find her stuff in select stores in Spruce Grove, and order online. She prides herself in making the best, using the best of ingredients, she even grows many of her own to ensure quality.

We did an Art Portrait portion of Jesse’s session and I think it suits her perfectly, a healer searching the tranquil forest for the very best ingredients.

Thank you Jesse, for being a part of this project and more importantly being my friend all these years.
