Angela S. {Fab@40+ Project} | Sherry Penner

I have fallen behind in my blogging so thank you all for your patience, there are just a couple weeks left to get these last sessions wrapped up and no time for blogging!

This is Angela! Angela loves hard rock music, riding Harley’s and her personality is open and sassy. Angela was hesitant to do this shoot from the beginning, but she jumped in, trusted us and rocked it. Sometimes it’s hard to explain the differences between boudoir and glamour styled portrait sessions. All women want to see themselves in beautiful pictures but not all women are wanting to take their clothes off in front of the camera. I get that!

The best way I can describe what is different between Glamour and Boudoir is this: boudoir is more about the body with your face as the accent, with a voyeuristic point of view, meaning someone else is looking in on the image and seeing you in an intimate moment. Glamour is where your face is the main subject and your body is the accent, and the point of view is your connect to the viewer, your face, express and a mood. Clothing is optional in both situations but the connection to the viewer is different. Women of the 40+ Club often want glamour but don’t even know that that style exists and think only boudoir is their option. I love shooting glamour and I love showing women just how beautiful they are. Every woman deserves to see themselves in beautiful pictures.
