This is Sheila, 40 years Fabulous! Sheila is a Realtor with Remax and is Alberta born and raised. She enjoys working out, hiking and travelling, she has been all over the world. She has a 12 year old son and lives in Ponoka.
Sheila joined the project because she turned 40 this year, she wants to embrace age and the beauty of getting older. She thinks it’s important to be comfortable in your own skin. I really admire anyone who dedicates their time and energy in taking care of their physical body, which in turn helps take care of your mental health. I do not have that dedication and am perpetually on the rollercoaster of getting on and off the health track. Long ago I gave up trying to have a different body than the one that I live in and just accept myself for who I am but I still struggle a lot with making healthy choices, getting in daily exercise. Let’s face it we are all sitting here being a little envious of Sheila’s beautiful physique, but the time and energy and dedication to self is what we should really be envious of, and that is what I see when I look at her. I love that she wanted to celebrate her journey with fitness. I hope she is really proud of her hard work.
Sheila has two mottos: “you can get bitter or you can get better”, and “Treat others as good as you are and not as bad as they are.”
The gorgeous red chaise we have been so lucky to have use of in the studio this year was Sheila’s Grandma’s. It is such a beautiful well kept antique and I am grateful we can use it for this project, it fits perfectly with our Fabulous theme.
