Melissa came to the studio with the greatest of attitudes and it was such a pleasure photographing her. Melissa is 49, grandmother of 2, wife, corporate branch manager for an investment firm and she is determined to go forth living her best life and most importantly enjoying it along the way.
She says she has been a wife and mother since she was 18 and always put others first, which we know is what our natural instincts as women and didn’t take the time along the way to know Melissa, and now she is doing just that. She says this is the Year of Melissa and she is all about saying yes to invitations, doing things she has never done, and embracing herself and being happy.
She brought such a great energy in to the studio, and she beamed when she came to see her portraits and I could just tell she will cherish this experience for years to come. She is also setting a great example for her granddaughters whom she spends a lot of time with. They love to bake together, do yard work, and she has a new grand baby on the way.
