I was reminded of something this summer when I got a message from a friend about a portrait session for her hubby for his 40th Birthday. And that is; that men deserve gorgeous portraits of themselves too! That they also need to be celebrated, to see themselves in beautiful pictures and so do those who love them.
Men usually come in to my studio for one of two reasons, they need business headshots or their wives want a family picture. It’s not often that I get to shoot a guy as an individual in a magazine styled shoot simply to celebrate a milestone. To celebrate them.
Fab@40+ sessions are for both men and women in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond. It’s a one of a kind empowering experience, celebrating their life and story with portraits in a magazine styled shoot.
This is Jonathon, he celebrated joining the 40(+) club this year and it was my pleasure to have this chance to photograph him in a way he hadn’t experienced before. He is a welder by trade, he loves family, sports, puppies, and camping, he’s the kind of guy who shows up when you need some extra help and always has a smile on his face. Welcome to the club Jon!
