This is Brenda….63 years Fabulous! Brenda moved to Red Deer in “99 from Kennedy, Saskatchewan, she moved to RD without knowing anyone or having been there before she came to find a home. She raised her 3 kids solo and her wish is that she wasn’t so uptight raising them, “you sure mellow with age, and I would snuggle with them way more.”
Brenda joined the project because she was the winner of a contest I was running along with Sassy B Home & Body (Red Deer) back in February. Brenda won a pair of jeans from Sassy B and a photoshoot with me. When she came for her consultation about her photoshoot she and learned about our special project she upgraded her shoot to join in. She thought the project was a wonderful idea because we don’t love ourselves enough and it’s great to treat ourselves to things that make us feel beautiful.
Brenda loves to make people laugh, she enjoys acrylic painting and watching a good tv show. She loves travel, specifically Hawaii and Los Vegas, and has been to both places many times. Meeting Brenda has been a joy, she is easy to talk with, was fun and completely open during her shoot and enjoyed every minute of it.
Her favourite saying is “Better than a kick in the ass with a frozen moccasin” and “never say Whoa, in a mud hole!”
