This is Angela….51 years Fabulous! Angela is a Career Advisor, is married and lives in Drumheller.
Angela wanted to be a part of this project because she loves the premise of celebrating women over 40 and she wanted a snapshot of herself at this age to remember how far she has come and to celebrate it. She would like to do another session in a couple years to see where she is when she meets a few more of her health goals.
Angela says she wishes she could go back and pursue psychology and would tell her younger self to go to post secondary and get a Bachelor’s degree. She loves to sing, and write her own lyrics and music. She is heavily involved in community theatre on and off the stage and volunteers on 2 boards. She teaches courses sometimes at Stettler Adult Learning Centre.
Angela is a dabbler, she loves to learn and try new things, currently working on developing an online course for people who are dealing with depression/anxiety based on her own journey.
Her favourite saying is: ” If you’re going to laugh later, find away to laugh now. It’s either laugh or cry – choose to laugh.”
