Angela’s last professional portrait session was taken when she was 25 and now she is 55, a nurse who teaches health care aids and works with seniors. She has been an LPN for 36 years and on the weekends she spends her time giving out vaccinations. She works all the time but when she isn’t working she enjoys golfing.
Angela wanted to celebrate and take some time for herself, when she saw the project she new she wanted to participate. She told me, like most women, she has not always been able so see her own beauty. I am sure everyone around her can see it but we are always so hard on ourselves. She is not alone. I don’t think I have ever met a woman who has not doubted her beauty and self worth at some time, and that is what this project is all about, maybe we wont be able to always feel confident and glamorous but when we can’t see it in the mirror we can look at our gorgeous portraits and see it there.
Angela grew up in and loves the 80’s, we rocked out to 80’s tunes and created magic at her shoot.
